The Misfit of the Martial World is a popular Manhwa created by Mayamaru. In the early days of the Joseon Dynasty, there lived a famous warrior. Some described him as manly, uninhibited, and fiery, but most described him as "like a dog." The fact that he managed to survive amidst warriors who lived by the sword while maintaining such a wretched temperament can only be explained by one thing: he was strong—very strong, in fact. Eventually, the king, after much deliberation, appointed him as the bodyguard for a diplomatic mission to the Ming Dynasty. Rumors circulated that the mission had been assembled unnecessarily just to send him away, but the king said nothing. In any case, that is how he left Joseon. This is the end of his story in Joseon... and the beginning of a new one.
